After relocating to southern Ontario, he became a member of the PGA of Canada and continued to compete on the Great Lakes Tour, Mandarin Tour and Circuit Canada Pro Tour. During these 4 years he has also worked as a teaching / club professional at various golf clubs. Most recently, he has been touring and competing full time at the professional level all across North America in hopes of one day playing on the PGA or European Tour.
Jamie trains and works at the MMG Golf Performance Academy in Winter Garden Florida where he is learning from some of the best instructors in the world. He is excited to offer his knowledge and teaching strategies to the golf enthusiasts of Thunder Bay. With having access to Trackman technology, Jamie can statistically improve your golf game over the winter months.
Evan is a local professional golfer born and raised in Thunder Bay. He began playing the sport at young age and it did not take him long to find his passion and love for the game. He has been competing in golf tournaments ever since he was twelve years old and continues to compete to this day, but, as a professional. Upon graduating college, he joined the Professional Golf Association of Canada and began his journey to become a “Class A” professional. In 2017 he accepted the assistant professional job at Thunder Bay Country Club, where he currently works.
Evan’s teaching philosophy is a relatively simple one, it consists of listening to the student and coming up with the ideal strategy to overcome their individual swing faults. Without a one swing fits all approach, Evan is able to cater his teaching to the individual, to find what works best for them. The main priority in golf is to have fun, and what better way to have fun than lowering your score. Let me, help you, have more fun!
